Outreach and Selection (O&S) is a global department that works with pre-applicants serving as the first point of contact for potential grantees as well as for partner institutions/organizations throughout the world. The Coordinator, Outreach and Selection provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to various programs administered by IIE.
Essential Functions:
- Updates shared databases with partner information, outreach activity data, and contacts (prospective students, institutional administrators and stakeholders). Performs accurate data entry for screening and panel review members and monitors invitation responses and sends follow up emails as requested. Responsible for ensuring that databases are updated accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Provides logistical and administrative support to finalize travel agendas, prepare expense reports, confirming and scheduling meetings, preparing resource materials ranging from recruitment presentations to the application review process, and manages any other information in support of the program and services provided.
- Reviews and processes applications for technical completeness, eligibility and accuracy; follows up with applicants as needed to complete materials.
- Responds to general phone and e-mail inquiries about the application and/or selection process; escalates non-standard issues as needed.
- Requires an Associate’s degree in order to apply subject matter of a specialized technical discipline.
- Requires at least two years of related work experience.

Essential functions are performed in a general office setting with low noise.
