Manage and coordinate IIE’s global outreach activities and outreach communications for sponsored programs, primarily NYU Abu Dhabi and Schwarzman Scholars. Work is carried out independently under general supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•Implement global outreach efforts, including coordinating the development and ongoing monitoring of detailed regional outreach plans that are in line with program targets and contractual obligations. •Develop and guide the implementation of large scale communication plans for the outreach, application, and selection phases of global scholarship/fellowship programs. Draft template communications that achieve desired programmatic goals and adapt them as needed for diverse audiences and situations. •Assist Senior Program Officers with global team communications, including setting the agenda for and participating in weekly global team conference calls; assigning and coordinating outreach-related team projects; and consolidating and synthesizing information received from the team. Assist Senior Program Officers with global team training on outreach messaging. •Collaborate with Senior Systems Manager on information management of outreach activities using shared CRM systems to ensure accuracy and usefulness of information. •Assist with the development of internal and external program presentations and reports by providing valuable information and context regarding outreach efforts, impact, and results. Provide input on the design of said presentations and reports in order to best present the information being featured. •Maintain productive relations with clients, including participating in client meetings, providing updates on IIE global team activities, and receiving feedback and suggestions from client representatives related to outreach and communications. •Responsible for complying with applicable contract and sponsor requirements and following all IIE policies and procedures. •Performs other related duties and functions as assigned.
Job Requirements Education/Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred , and at least 2 years of experience with outreach and coordination of global program team activities. •Strong international experience and acumen. •Experience living or working overseas, preferably in an educational or non-profit environment, a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Knowledge of educational systems worldwide and/or university admissions processes, a plus. •Strong communications skills, both spoken and written; ability to clearly and effectively convey information to individuals or groups of people of varying educational, cultural, and experience levels. •Highly adept collaboration skills to work effectively with others in order to achieve meaningful results. •Excellent commitment to quality and ability to focus on detail. •Strong organizational, planning and scheduling to achieve established objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner. Ability to track multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure and with frequently changing priorities. •Strong adaptability skills and ability to demonstrate flexibility in dealing with challenging circumstances, or adjust to changing conditions, in order to meet job requirements. •Excellent information management and analytical skills, including ability to gather needed information, distill and communicate it in a useful and timely manner. •Strong demonstration of maintaining compliance with established guidelines, policies, and procedures in order to ensure consistency. •Strong customer focus and ability to build productive relationships with internal or external customers. Must exhibit professionalism and maturity and be comfortable in a client-centered office and have the ability to use diplomacy in difficult situations.
